It`s time for another project blog post, folks! This time, I`m blogging about a digital art project. More specifically, I`m blogging about an art project made by UNI students. Let`s dig in! I chose to do the Personality Trading Card project. We were supposed to make a trading card that reflected our own personality, and the personality of an alter ego. My alter ego: The Laser Sniper!
I used SketchBook to make this image. First I used Safari to find the card template. Then, I had my dad take the base picture. I used PS Express to filter it, and opened it in SketchBook. I put my heroes name at the bottom, and erased two sections for my Abilities and Weakness. The back of my card is done! Now for the front.
I used almost the same process here as I did for the back. the only differences were the template, the picture, and the text. Other than that, I used the same procedure.
So, here you have it. Another project completed, and another post about the procedure. If your interested in trying this project out for yourself, I included the YouTube video below. Other than that, that`s all I have for this project. Until next time, Folks!
Alex, I absolutely love the image that you took of you as your alter ego the laser sniper! I was very impressed with how you added in the red laser line! It was a joy to read this blog post as your writing was very easy to read as you were talking to the audience as you would a friend. I also thought it was neat how you embedded the YouTube video from Dagan and Colleen's lesson! Thanks for a great post and project!

Alex, i like the way you set up the shot for your dad to take a photo you could work with. You made a good space easy to easily read the abilities and weakness without losing the picture "message." Good job.

Hi Alex, I'm actually one of the people who designed this lesson you worked on. I would just like to start off saying your trading card is sweet! The concept of the Laser Sniper is something I would have never thought of, and the image that you created for your alter ego is way awesome! Very nice effect with the laser. I feel as if I may have wanted to see some more color in your trading card borders, however. Also I feel like I would have liked to know how you became the laser sniper in your description. All in all though, awesome end result man!
I really enjoyed this post! It looks like you always have a lot of fun when working on assignments for your blog! I think your alter ego is pretty cool! What inspired your alter ego? How long did it take for you to come up with it? You're doing an amazing job with your blog posts! Have fun on the rest of your learning journey with your blog!
